Performance and fitness for martial arts and self-defense
The performance qualification standard (short performance test or PQS) is a traditional training program with which Pahuyuth Free-Warriors train and maintain their physical performance and combat readiness.
As part of Pahuyuth martial arts training, performance tests serve not only to meet the teaching and examination requirements or the general fitness and health of the participants. Through the regular conduct of these tests, one’s own selfishness is also to be developed into self-discipline and character maturity.
What is performance?
The teaching methodology of Pahuyuth defines performance as the interaction of current reaction abilities, physical abilities and endurance from which the current physical combat readiness results. Accordingly, there are three classes of performance tests (0,1 and 2), each covering one of the three performance priorities mentioned above.
Please note: The correct and safe execution of the individual exercises requires knowledge of the individual LQM exercises or the physical exercises of Pahuyuth. Since these are test books for practical use, the exercises and the execution of the tests are not explained in detail. For beginners, we recommend the 30 Exercises available for free on our website.
Important note: The use of the test booklets and the implementation of the contents contained therein is expressly at your own risk. We recommend consulting a doctor before starting any sports or training activity.
The test booklets are printed in the handy DIN A5 format with spiral binding and contain 52 PQS test sheets each.
