What is a grip technique?

In pahuyuth, a grip technique is a manipulation of the opponents body, which causes damage by using the lever laws.

Grip techniques belong to the system weapons of the Pahuyuth and are based on the fifth system teaching of LING LOM. A subcategory of grip techniques is the grappling technique in which the manipulation serves the purpose of fixating the opponent or an opponent’s body part.
