What is self-correction?

Self-correction is the examination of one‘s own knowledge according to the second pedagogical principle (learning by teaching)

Background

In the understanding of pahuyuth, it is assumed that only the learner can make a correction on himself. A teacher (Kru) is never a ruler over his disciples. He therefore only gives hints with a recommendative character from which a self-correction may or may not result from one’s own conviction. Similarly, feedback from classmates, students and others can result in an individual self-correction.
