COVID-19 – a teacher / healer recommends – Part 6

April 19, 2020
Topic: COVID-19 (Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2)

Life and survival in isolation

The traditional Free-Warrior medicine pursues a holistic approach that takes into account both physical and psychological aspects. The state of the body affects the psyche and vice versa. On this basis, many ailments and diseases (e.g. certain types of immunodeficiency and control errors in the nervous system) can be attributed to the mental health condition.

The contact barriers and curfews imposed by the Corona pandemic (lockdown) lead to noticeable restrictions in daily life, which have corresponding psychological consequences. Our current way of life is comparable to the cagekeeping of animals.

This creates several psychological and social potentials for conflict that need to be addressed:

Problem 1: Mental blockages

Stays in closed rooms sooner or later lead to blockages of one’s own thought processes. The proverbial lack of foresight hinders thinking and can indirectly lead to physical discomfort.

Recommendation: Remedy can offer regular ventilation of the apartment and looking out the window. It is important that the eyes can actually wander into the distance and focus on distant things. A glance at the opposite wall of the house, a poster or a computer monitor is in most cases not sufficient to achieve the desired relaxation effect.

Problem 2: Thinking Collisions

Personal freedoms and retreats are rare in times of shutdown. Forced spatial proximity to other people leads to collisions of thought structures. This applies not only to disagreements, but also to unconscious vibration interferences.

Recommendation: Remedy can create loose conversations and small talks about common interests or needs. Interpersonal exchange harmonizes opposing vibration patterns and generates valuable community feelings that make living together in a confined space more bearable.

Problem 3: Lack of perspective

Closed or cramped spaces act on the psyche like a dead end or barrier. The constant presence of physical obstacles can convince the subconscious to be in a hopeless situation, even if this may not be the case.

Recommendation: In order to deal with this problem, it is advisable to adjust the thinking of the future on short distances and to focus on the here and now. Many people already do this automatically and live into the day, for example, a conscious perception and control of their own breathing can achieve the desired effect.

Problem 4: Fears of existence

Unemployment, insolvency, inflation – the current constraints of the economy cause for indirect or immediate existential fears for many, which can have a negative effect on the immune system and physical condition (e.g. cardiovascular disease).

Recommendation: Fears of existence are based on an uncertain (because not yet occurred) vision of the future, which is created in the present. The key to overcoming these fears is thus the self-correction of one’s own perception and thought-forming. Awareness of this mechanism can help as well as a disciplined examination of one’s own thought processes on the basis of logic and rationality.

Problem 5: Social restrictions

Humans are social beings whose survival in the past depended on living in the most stable community possible. A sudden change in our usual social structure creates stress, which in turn can lead to discomfort and illness. The current limitations of our social coexistence represent a not to be underestimated alienation of our social environment.

Recommendation: A conscious approach to one’s own actions and reactions in relation to the immediate social environment can provide a remedy. This refers, on the one hand, to the most emotionless observation of changes in the social environment and, on the other hand, to the disciplined self-control with regard to the treatment of related persons. It is recommended not to use fellow human beings as lightning rods for one’s own emotional turbulence.
