New information on COVID-19 self-testing
In the current situation, it is of the utmost importance to be prudent, rational, but also act in solidarity and be compassionate towards others. This includes avoiding unnecessary visits to the doctor to relieve the health system.
With the following self-test from the traditional Free-Warrior medicine, we would like to offer a possibility to search independently for clues and to find out for ourselves whether a visit to the doctor is necessary or not. We hope to make a contribution to the common good.
Please note: The following self-test is not a substitute for a COVID-19 test performed by trained medical staff. Even without symptoms, an infection may already be present. If you feel sick, follow the instructions of your local health authority.
Implementation:
Sit upright and inhale as deeply as possible with a straight back. Stop the air for ten seconds and then slowly exhale again. You can feel a slight pain or a slight pulling in the lower larynx, because the muscles there contract a bit. That’s normal. If implemented correctly, there should be four possible results.
- Option 1: Nothing unusual happens. The airways should be fine. For general prevention, regular intake of vitamin C is recommended.
- Option 2: A clear scratching in the neck. This generally indicates a possible respiratory infection. It is recommended to gurgle with salt water to disinfect the throat. Alternatively, 10-15 drops of peppermint oil can be added in 2-4cl of water and drunk (Caution! This can be hot!).
- Option 3: A noticeable coughing irritation. This indicates a possible infestation of the lungs. It is recommended to gurgle with salt water to disinfect the throat. Alternatively, 10-15 drops of peppermint oil can be added in 2-4cl of water and drunk (Caution! This can be hot!). In addition, it is recommended to do a dry fever simulation with a hair dryer for 15 minutes by passing a warm to hot air stream past the mouth and nose and inhaling it.
- Option 4: Shortness of breath and permanent cough. This points to a “Jackpot”. From here at the latest, increased caution is required. If possible, it is recommended to perform the steps of points 2 and 3 (salt water/mint oil and fever simulation). It is also recommended to drink a large glass of vitamin C (e.g. orange or cherry juice) and then an aspirin plus C. If there is no improvement within two hours, a doctor should be consulted immediately or a COVID-19 test should be sought.
The self-test described above can be performed once a day to check the general condition of the respiratory tract.
With a heartfelt recommendation.
