What is a transport technique?

In Pahuyuth transport technique is the term for manipulations that allow to move an incapacitated person.

Background

Transport techniques are based on the need to transport the injured or wounded. This includes, for example, moving the person out or into the side position or to make the person sit up, but also transport from a hazardous area to safety. Transport techniques are based on the fifth system teaching of LING LOM.

Transport techniques may also include personal protective measures in which a person is protected from injury by third parties by manipulating his or her body.
